ranger kid

This summer, Ashtyn moved up a Wednesday night class, at church, into Royal Rangers! It's hard to believe! Royal Rangers is like the BIG boy class! It's what boys go into when girls go into Missionettes. They do camping trips and all sorts of fun stuff and they also have the opportunity to earn badges by learning various things and performing various tasks. Tonight, we finally got his vest!!! This vest will be used to sew patches on as he earns them! He was very excited and proud! He will also get a Ranger Kid t-shirt as soon as a new shipment arrives! We'll keep you posted on the new badges Ashtyn earns and all his Ranger Kid activities! I guess I'll have to dust off the ol' sewing machine and get ready to sew on patches...

is easier. We still have Uncle John's vest and uniform. Also his box of keepsakes from he Royal Ranger
days. Derby cars etc. Ashtyn it

Ashtyn,
Gramma is soooo proud of you. You will get to do so many fun things and learn so much about Jesus!

Grampa Mike used to be a Royal Ranger AND was a Commander. I even remember when he made a huge TeePee for a huge PowWow at Uncle Terry's church on Oak Street. Ask your Mom where that is!!!!!

I'm anxious to see which badge you get to put on your vest first!
