In just over a week, Ashtyn will be attending his very first Royal Ranger Father/Son CampOut!! He is very excited and so today I talked with him about what he would get to do during his campout...
Mom: "Ash! Guess what you get to do on your campout?"
Ashtyn: "What?"
Mom: "You get to shoot a bow and arrow!!"
Ashtyn: (shocked and in a high pitched voice) "Huh? I get to do it all by myself?"
Mom: "Yep!"
Ashtyn: "Will daddy help me?"
Mom: "I'm sure he will..."
Ashtyn: (looking suddenly puzzled and cocking his head to the side) "Do I have to shoot a deer?"
Mom: (laughing out loud) "No! I'm sure you'll shoot a target!"
Oh how the mind of a little boy works...
