Yesterday, the boys and I started a class at our church called Terrific Tuesday's! It happens, obviously, every Tuesday morning from 9:30 to 11:30AM. They offer a class called C.O.W.'s (Children of the Word) for your kids and also offer several options for mom's and women to attend. I am going to a mommy's class where they discuss topics on raising kids, being a wife, being a women, etc. The topic that started yesterday is discipline and we will be reading a book called "Have a New Kid by Friday". Not only do these mommies meet to discuss their book topic but the class is also used as an outlet for week to week issues that any of the mom's might be having where the other mom's can give advice. The goal of the class is to make you feel like you're not alone and allow you to connect to other mom's and women in the church! I am very excited about it and actually can't wait til next Tuesday! Maddox was a bit leary about going to his C.O.W. class and clung to me a bit (and shed a few tears) when I went to drop him off but the woman teaching his class took him from me with little effort and he ended up having a really good time! In fact, when I went to pick him up the teacher said "Can I take Maddox home with me? He is just so YUMMY!" What can I say...??? Maddox has a way with the older ladies! Ashtyn attends the C.O.W. class too but only for half of the morning becuase he goes to half day Kindergarten as well. Each of the boys received a C.O.W. t-shirt, which they will wear each week, and a tote bag to match! Maddox thinks this is his very own school..."just like brudder"!!

They are using the same book at your cousin Sean's church. Very cool. But my fave is C.O.W.s !!! How awesome is that name????!!!!! I may have to tell Ms Pat about that one! (she's works with the kids).
Now THAT is what I call an awesome Mom's group!!
