The "old woman who lives in a shoe" was my favorite storybook setting. There was actual smoke coming from her chimney and everything!!
Maddox tried to prove he was the King of England by attempting to pull the sword from the stone. He didn't succeed...but they still gave him candy!
Humpty Dumpty made for a good picture!
Isn't he sweet!?!?
Pinnochio's nose actually grew as the storybook hostess at this station told his story! Ashtyn wondered, though, why Pinnochio didn't look "the same" as in the movie...
The boys actually loved getting candy from inside this pumpkin!
Another favorite was Little Red Riding Hood! Can you see "Grandma" in the bed?
Once we finished the forest, we headed over to the carnival games!
But first, we ran into Curious George!! Ash had been hoping to see Curious George but once we actually saw him he got nervous and didn't want to take his picture with him. Maddox jumped right in there though!

Finally, we headed back to the bonfires for some yummy campfire fixin's!! We purchased hot dogs and marshmallows and found us a spot around the fire! They had logs and haybales set up for you to sit on while you roasted and ate. I forgot just how yummy hot dogs and marshmallows are roasted over an open fire! It sorta gave me the bug to go camping!!
Storybook Forest was by far the best halloween we have had in quite awhile...and it's not even halloween yet! Now, with the boys in bed, I'm gonna go raid their candy bowls and pick out a couple pieces for myself!

Erika did you find some good stuff?? That's the best part of being the Mom. You get your pick of all the yummy candy! :)
Auntie Teresa, I don't know if they change the nursery rhymes out each year or not. This was our first time to go. We loved it so much though that we will be going back next year so I guess we'll find out then! Rae, yep! I found myself a few peices of yummy candy. I tried not to take too much though or the boys would notice!!
