Next up, we lassoed some horsies! Ash got all of his ropes over the horses! Way to go bud!
Then we did the classic children's festival game...pick a ducky and win a prize! Ash won a sticker and Maddox won candy! The woman running this game is Ashtyn's favorite sunday morning teacher! When we walked up to the game she said "Hello Ashtyn!" and Ashtyn turned to me and whispered "how does she know my name????" He was pretty concerned! I laughed and told him who she was! He didn't recognize her with her clown make-up on!!
Waiting in line for our next game...
Whoa! What a roll!
This game was pretty cool! You had to throw gold coins into the boot! Ash was able to sink one coin and won a special prize but Maddox was nervous to play this game for some reason. They still gave him a sucker though!
There were some clowns walking around making balloon animals and swords! Both the boys chose a sword...of course!
Finally, after making our way across to the other side of the room we found the JACKPOT game! When you spin this wheel you get the number of pieces of candy as the number your roll lands on! Whew! What was extra awesome was that when the kids would spin the wheel the lady standing behind the wheel would lightly put her hand on the wheel and "help" it stop on a large number! The boys hit a number over 20 BOTH TIMES that we played this game!!!

About half way through the night Maddox got tired of wearing his mustache. He said it was "itchy". So...Brandon wore it for awhile! HA!
Wow! This game took me by surprise! They had a real life cowboy letting all the kids shoot a bb gun at a target! I have to admit I was kinda nervous to let the boys do it but they were so excited and Brandon helped them! Maddox got a bullzeye and so won his very own cowboy hat...but when he went to the table to collect his prize he politely refused the cowboy hat and instead chose a tootsie roll. Hmph. What can I say...he inherited my sweet tooth!!

Ash was quite the marskmen himself!
We ended the evening with a horse ride and some yummy food! When the boys told me they wanted to ride the horses, I have to admit that I was a bit skeptacle. I mean, Ash won't even go out the front door if he hears a dog barking somewhere in the nerighborhood and so I was just picturing us standing in the LONG horsey ride line and then getting to the front and both of the boys changing their minds...but we just took our food into line with us and made the best of it! It was freezing out but the wait ended up being well worth it!! When we reached the front of the line both boys jumped to the top of the staircase and got on the horses like big boys! They had a blast! Ash even wanted to ride again!

When Maddox came riding back in they stopped him for a photo-op and after I took this picture he shouted "Can somebody get me down from here?" HA! He enjoyed himself but I think one ride was enough for the evening!
