warm and cozy

I was quite proud of myself this year because, as would be any mother's nightmare, our ENTIRE family needed new coats including mom and dad! If you've ever even bought just yourself a coat you know how expensive that can be...not to mention buying four coats! I'll admit I was nervous about how much it was going to cost us and then I found this GREAT deal online! At Old Navy this week, they are having an online shopping promotional where if you spend $75 or more you get free shipping AND 15% off your entire order! That can't be beat when you have to buy that much stuff anyway! So, the whole family went down to the Old Navy store and tried on coats and then we came home and ordered them online! I was giggling on the inside feeling as if we were "getting away with something"! He He! I wanted to tell everyone in the coat section "Don't buy that here! Go home and order it online!"...but I didn't. In the end we saved enough with our discount that we basically got one of the boys coats for free!! YIPEEEEE!! Funny how before kids you didn't really look at pricetags and shopped based on what you "couldn't live without" and now the thought of any percent off gives you a high of some sort! Anyway, our coats came in yesterday and just in time too! It is cold and rainy out this morning! The boys tried their coats on immidiately, of course, and love their new winter gear! Gramma and Grampa...we are more then ready for the Connecticut snow! (And any snow we get here at home...keep your fingers crossed!!!)
