The boys and I had fun planning for our Christmas weekend! We took a field trip to Wal-Mart and the Dollar Tree to get some goodies for our house guests...little did the boys know I was also buying some goodies for them! When the Johnson family showed up Friday afternoon there were christmas treats on everyone's bed!! Ashtyn carefully removed each and every item from his bag (including each mini reese's cup)...while Maddox fully dumped his stocking onto his bed!
Rae and I got matching Christmas socks!
Later that evening, while the grown ups watched christmas movies Maddox and Elia escaped to the playroom/Rae and Casey's make-shift bedroom to watch a movie of their own! I was actually able to snap this picture without them noticing. Aren't they cute!?!?
On Saturday, Brandon and Casey took the kids to the Omniplex while Rae and I went shopping for road trip goodies for the kids to play with on the way to our Christmas in Connecticut next month. The kids had a ton of fun and, of course, Rae and I had, I think, even more fun! We found some really cool things for the car and are even more excited for our trip! We rounded out the evening with a drive through the Christmas in the Park christmas light display in Yukon. The lights were wonderful and got us all in the christmas spirit! When we made our donation at the end of the drive Rudolph took our money and gave us mints! It was alot of fun! Look in the very near future for a HILARIOUS story about this evening in the "Just Laugh" section at the bottom of our blog... You WON'T wanna miss it!!!!!
