from "JUST LAUGH"

Last week, after Maddox and I picked up Ashtyn from school, we all went to Wal-Mart to get a few groceries. We didn't need much and I was glad! Grocery shopping isn't exactly my favorite chore...unless of course I'm going all by myself and can make my way slowly down each aisle! Anyway, today wasn't one of those days. The boys were both following closely behind me and by the time we had made it half way through the grocery side of the store both Ash and Maddox were beginning to wander a bit and trying to put things in the buggy that they knew we weren't buying! I was beginning to see the light at the end of the tunnel as we approached the pop tart aisle and was anxious to get finished. As we rounded the corner from one aisle to the next, I glanced ahead to see some others with their shopping carts lining the sides of the pop tart and cereal aisle. The man closest to us happened to be shopping in his PJ's that day and had on pajama pants and a t-shirt. I half noticed what he was wearing but Maddox, on the other hand, noticed and had something to say! It didn't take one step down the aisle before Maddox exclaimed in his overly loud speaking voice "Uh! (in a "no fair" tone) I WANNA WEAR MY PAJAMAS!" Oh my!!!!!!! I froze for what seemed like an eternity (but was only a split second) and watched in horror as the grown man ahead of us turned around...HE HAD HEARD! I put my head down, grabbed a box of pop tarts and shushed Maddox as we quickly passed the man and turned the next corner. We shopped faster for the rest of our stuff then we ever have! HA!!
