Yesterday, the boys and I sat down to make our annual Thankful Hands Wreath! We popped some popcorn to eat while we crafted and also turned on the seasonal music channel which is already playing christmas music! YIPEEEE!! To start, we traced each family members hands and cut out the handprint many times and in many many colors! Then everyone wrote down on their own handprints things they are thankful for and then decorated the prints with markers and glitter! Maddox's favorite part of this craft was the glitter...can you tell!?!? He's got that look in his eye...

Once it was time to write down what we were thankful for, I got the same question I heard last year, "What does fankful mean?" I explained to the boys that we are "thankful" for things that we are very happy to have, things that we love! Well, when you ask toddler boys what they love you never know what answers you are gonna get! HA!
This year, Maddox is thankful for MUSIC, MOMMY, NONI & PAPA, ELVIS (Uncle Tyler's dog), MONKEYS, GRPA & GRMA, STICKERS, OUTSIDE, DADDY, FROGS and SANTA!!
And, Ashtyn is thankful for GRMA & GRPA, DADDY, NOAH (his friend from school), NONI, ELVIS (Uncle Tyler's dog), ZOO, HALLOWEEN, MOM, SWINGSET, TV, SCHOOL and SANTA!!
Next it was time to decorate!!!!

I am "fankful" for you! Noni
I remember you guys doing this last year and one of your boys being thankful for french fries! Awesome tradition that teaches much!
I actually surprised that they didn't say they were thankful for their "cricket" grasshopper!!!
