christmas eve eve

Since on Christmas Eve we will be visiting New York City we had to use today to prep for Christmas morning!! So, first on the agenda was baking and decorating cookies for Santa! Maddox and Elia helped me set up the frosting, get out the sprinkles and bake the sugar cookies...

While Ashtyn showed off his "ribbon dancing" skills!!

While we waited for the cookies to cool the kids wrote their letters to Santa! We will take them with us tomorrow to New York City and drop them in the Santa Mailbox at Macy's! Here is what the boys wrote in their letters:

I want Ultra Magnus, Imaginext Boat, Dragon Bakugan

Dear Santa,

I want for Christmas a dual lightsaber. What I want next is a mickey mouse guitar, more star wars stuff, a sword and that's it! I want alot of stuff!

Ashtyn wrote parts of his letter himself and then signed his own name...so serious...

Finally, the cookies were cool and we were set to decorate! Hope Santa is hungry!

Tomorrow, like I said, we will be traveling to New York City for a FULL day of fun! We plan to leave for the train by 7:30AM and then arrive in New York City by about 11:00AM!! Then it's off to the races with a Rockettes Show, ice skating in Rockefellar Center and a visit to Times Square! You can't really ask for a better Christmas Eve!!
