Tonight, after the boys painted nativity set had dried, I set up the scene on a shelf in their bedroom. I had laid it out classically with Mary and Joseph on either side of Baby Jesus, the shephards and sheep alongside and the angel standing over the manger. A couple of hours later, though, Maddox came running down the hall proclaiming excitedly, "Mom! Mom! Come here! See what brother did!" As I came into the bedroom Ashtyn was standing next to his shelf with a proud smile across his face. He quickly pointed out what he had done, "I set this up so all the people are looking at Baby Jesus!" How sweet!

As silly as it sounds, but this story brought tears to my eyes. Ashtyn has such a kind heart...alot like his Mom. I wonder what God has planned for this little guy? He created Ashtyn's kind heart for a good reason!!!!
awwww!! They all needed to see him! You know...he is probably more accurate!
