turning two

Tonight we attended Grayson's birthday party!! Gray is the son of our friends Doug and Jill. Today was his 2nd birthday! Grayson and Maddox are very special friends! They have fun together but they are also trouble together! They both have that awnry look in their eye! For Gray's 2nd birthday they had a "sock monkey" theme! It was a very cute birthday complete with a sock monkey cake and baby photos of Grayson hung along with his "Happy Birthday" sign! Grayson was hilarious opening his gifts! He's still at the age where the tissue paper and gift bags are just as exciting as the gift inside. Plus, after Gray opened his very first present (a dinosaur) he was so excited he took off with the toy to show his grandparents, completely unaware that he had an entire stack of gifts left to open! His mom ended up opening most of the gifts but I'm sure Gray will enjoy them later. The party ended with a fun game of "pin the mouth on the sock monkey"! Brandon actually kicked off the game!! HA!! Then the kids each took turn after turn trying to pin the mouth in the right spot. What a fun night!! Happy 2nd Birthday Gray!!
