sweet memories

Last night was the boys church Christmas program performance! They both did GREAT!!!! Maddox was a wiseman in the program and Ashtyn was a member of the choir! We arrived early to save seats (ha!) and to get the boys dressed in their costumes. Teacher Jan had pre-picked what wiseman outfit and hat Maddox was assigned to wear but we had to make a last minute adjustment when Maddox's head was WAY too big to fit all but one hat. So, his wiseman crown didn't necessarily match his outfit but it worked!

Ashtyn wore the children's choir robe and a shimmery garland halo! So sweet!

When the program started, Ashtyn entered first with the entire choir! He spotted us almost immidiately and started waving!

Ash must have gotten an itch while he stood in the choir! It was hard not to laugh and oh so cute!

Maddox walked in from the back of the sanctuary riding his stick camel!!

And then Maddox stood at the microphone to say his lines. All the wiseman did a very good job and they all remembered their part!

After they finished telling us the Christmas story through a child's eyes, the kids all sang us one final Christmas song! I think Ash was more taken with the Christmas decorations on the stage then with actually singing and Maddox had his stick camel dancing right along with the song! The program was awesome! Both boys did awesome! All the kids did awesome! This program truly makes memories that you could never create on your own! It's priceless!
