spring into projects

We've been doing ALOT of spring cleaning projects around our house over the last few weeks!! We've expanded our master bedroom closet, completed all the honey-do's that have collected over the winter and now Brandon is finishing out our backyard by completeing our privacy fence!! Woohoo!! I'm especially pumped about this one!! We have a couple more projects to go before the week is over but I think we're finally seeing the light at the end of the tunnel. When it's all said and done we should have a new shed for our lawn equipment and I should have my very own permanent sewing station in the garage!! :)

Brandon almost got the entire fence put up today! He cemented in the posts yesterday and today began putting up the fence panels!

There are only a couple more panels to put up and so by the end of the day tomorrow we should have a completely fenced in backyard!! The only downside to the fence building is that poor Charlie has had to be tethered during the process. This is the first time in his life that he's been on a leash for an extended period of time and he hasn't liked it too much. He chews on the leash and tugs on it and whines and cries. It's for his own good, though. Besides the fact that part of the fence is still gone and so he would escape, we also wanted to keep him contained because of all the tools and screws and everything covering the lawn. Safety first, Charlie, safety first!

There are definitely more pictures to come! Soon I'll post pics of our closet, the sewing station and the new and improved backyard...hopefully after I plant some flowers that is! Don't ya just love springtime!?!?

I know! I thought of that with the neighbors. What's funny is that their neighbors on the other side and the people behind them have privacy fenced their yards too so our neighbors are completely fenced in for FREE!! Exciting day for them!!
