K GRAD!!!!

Well, as you know, Ashtyn didn't get to have his kindergarten graduation due to severe weather here in Oklahoma but the next day Ashtyn's teacher had a little party for the class in her classroom serving them cupcakes and punch and handing them their graduation certificates! When Ash came home he was wearing his faux graduation cap and carrying his certificate and song sheet! He was so proud! So was I! Since we didn't get to see Ash perform his graduation songs during a ceremony I decided to record him singing his songs anyway! Ash was VERY dissapointed that his graduation had been cancelled and said "But we worked so hard..." so I thought we would document all that work and those sings solo style! He did GREAT!!!! We actually ended up hearing these songs at least a dozen times over the next couple days!!



I absolutely, positively CANNOT believe that Ashtyn is 7-years-old and entering 1st grade next year! What happened?? Where did the time go?? Ashtyn has grown into a sweet and sensitive little boy who loves the weather, doing math for fun (yep! he does!) and keeping track of time to make sure we are NEVER late!! We call him the time police!! Especially since he got a watch for his birthday he updates on the time every few minutes. Ashtyn loves video games, board games, reading and his favorite food is bacon! Ashtyn may be more then a little obsessive compulsive and he is afraid of nearly everything but he is also very social, very loving and very curious! We love you Ashtyn! Congrats on completing kindergarten! We hope you always love learning as much as you do now and we can't wait to see where 1st grade takes you!
