Today was the boys' last day of VBS Sports Camp at our church! Both boys have had a BLAST this week! I think Ash was a little more confident about going everyday and definitely less insecure about leaving mom and dad each morning and going with his coach for class but we were able to persuade Maddox to go each day. He always had fun once he got there he's just harder to wake up in the morning and get moving. This morning both the boys showed off all that they had learned during the week by performing some of their VBS songs and Maddox even came home with a medal! (I think all the 4-year-olds got one for completing the week...but obviously we let him think that he "won"!!)

Tonight, our church held an outdoor water party to celebrate the end of VBS! They had inflatable water slides, snow cones, popcorn and outdoor sports for the kids to play! The boys had a blast...obviously! What little boy wouldn't!?!?

There was a storm trying to move in toward the middle of the party but we were able to get in some good playtime before we had to head home...

Mmmmmmm! My boys don't choose snow cones by flavor...they choose by color! Ha! It really doesn't matter what flavor the snow cone is as long as they are serving the color they want, we're good to go! (I'm not sure what face Maddox is making here...)

VBS was tons of fun! We're both happy and sad that it's over, though, because we have so much fun stuff to look forward to this summer and we can't wait to get to some of it but at the same time the end of the VBS means one week of summer is already over and we're that much closer to my boys leaving me all day, every day for school... :( Let's not even talk about that right now, though! We're looking forward to heading to Dallas in a couple weeks to visit family, camp cousin and visiting Noni in July and, of course, lots and lots and lots of swimming, visits to the library and movies at the theater!! And who could forget the 4th of July!! We have a fun few months ahead!!
