Maddox comes up with things all the time that make me laugh, make me cry (in a good way) and also that shock me and, at times, take my breath away! Recently, Maddox brought home a worksheet from school that did all of those things in one! Here is what it says:
When I grow up I want to be "a arme man" (An army man.)
Why? "bcus I luv umarica I will be a goott umaricn" (Because I love America. I will be a good American.)
When: "I will live in Noo Yrc" (I will live in New York.)
Where: "at umarica" (At America.)
How: "by pradisting" (By practicing.)
Conclusion: "I will be a good arme man." (I will be a good army man.)
Wow! I have no idea where the phrase "because I love America" came from! Maddox's Uncle Tyler served 4 years in the army and fought in the war so I know that's why he wants to be in the army but he truly hears everything and takes it all in! He's a sponge soaking up all we say and do. I don't know if Maddox will end up going into the army or not but what I do know is, right now, Maddox surprises me every single day and impresses me with his little mind. He's so different from big brother, Ashtyn, and he's perfect just the way he is! He's competitive, he's emotional, he's aggressive yet at the same time he's loving, he's sensitive and he's such a hard worker. Whatever he does when he grows up, I'll be proud of him! He clearly already has big dreams!
