"Nature looks dead in winter because her life is gathered into her heart. She withers the plant down to the root that she may grow it up again fairer and stronger. She calls her family together within her inmost home to prepare them for being scattered abroad upon the face of the earth." Hugh Macmillan

inspiration
This boy. I could write about him for hours while at the same time I struggle to find words adequate enough to say exactly how I feel about him. He's so much like me and yet so unlike me at the same time. He's outgoing, social, the life of the party, hilarious, loud, energetic, competitive, fearless, confidant, aggressive and determined. All of these traits inspire me and in some way make me want to be more like him. At the same time, though, he is caring, loving, compassionate, a home body, tenderhearted, sincere, sweet, sentimental and a through and through mama's boy! Maddox still sleeps with a "banky", still wants mommy to hold him while he falls asleep every night and LOVES to help me bake and do laundry. My greatest hope and prayer for both my boys is that they grow up to become exactly who they are and that they aren't afraid to be any more or any less than exactly that!
