We LOVE Bricktown! Honestly, we just can't get enough. Every visit is different and there's so much to do! We enjoyed our latest trip with my parents. We ate at Toby Keith's, got ice cream cones, visited Bass Pro and went on a river cruise. We did feel really bad after we boarded the river cruise and realized that between FOUR grown adults we didn't have a stitch of cash to tip the boat captain. Oops! And I'm not joking...not even a quarter! The situation was made that much more embarrassing when we actually had to ask the captain to drop us off at an earlier stop because Maddox was literally standing up, holding himself and bouncing up and down because he had to go to the bathroom SO BAD!!!! Ha! He literally couldn't hold it a second longer. Honestly, if we had been the only ones on the boat I would have been tempted to ask the captain to pull the boat over in a secluded spot and let Maddox "take care of business" in the bushes! Instead, though, we had to interrupt the commentary of the captain and the cruise of all the other guests and ask to be let off early...then we all had to walk past the poor captain, awkwardly averting our eyes from his, as we all stepped onto the sidewalk without handing him a tip! Good grief! I want to say that this is a lesson learned and that I'll always have a dollar or two when I go downtown AND make sure my boys use the bathroom before we board any boats BUT I can't make any promises...
