"Nature looks dead in winter because her life is gathered into her heart. She withers the plant down to the root that she may grow it up again fairer and stronger. She calls her family together within her inmost home to prepare them for being scattered abroad upon the face of the earth." Hugh Macmillan

we will rebuild
I posted earlier about Maddox's 1st grade field trip at Orr Family Farm and how just a week after that filed trip the farm was hit by a tornado and much of it was destroyed. Well this is one image that shows the extent of the damage and just how devastating it was. This is a picture of the exact same location on the farm. The top, of course, showing the carousel near the entrance of the farm before the storm and the second picture showing the carousel after the tornado struck. It is very sad. These are images I will never forget and storms that no Oklahoman will ever forget either. Oklahoma is my home. Oklahoma strong.
