Just before Christmas break, Maddox's class was chosen to lead the Friday school assembly! Maddox was especially excited because he was given a speaking part! Maddox pretends like he doesn't want to talk in front of people but deep down inside I know he MUST love it because he gets so excited, works hard to practice and memorize his part and wants desperately for mom and dad to show up and watch him. You can tell he's definitely proud of himself! And, of course, we are proud too!
During the assembly, Maddox got to read a portion of the class script introducing himself and announcing whose class he represents. Then his class donned their reindeer years and sang a special version of jingle bells that ended with jazz hands! So fun! Maddox picked both Brandon and I out of the crowd, waved at us from the stage and smiled as we lifted our cameras to take pictures. He's such a ham! I love him with all my heart!
