Well, it's certainly not playing barbie beauty pageant or making play dough flowers all day but these boys definitely keep me on my toes and keep me laughing! Even though at the end of the day I'm exhausted and can't feel my body! HA!!

welcome to my world
As a young girl, when I day dreamed about having babies and staying home with them, being the girly girl that I am I, of course, dreamed of having little girls who I could dress up in cutesie little outfits with big bows and we would sit for hours on end reading or playing barbies (specifically barbie beauty pageant...which I still get the urge to play from time to time! HA!) But instead the good Lord blessed me with boys! I don't know what I would do without my two little men but I also never thought I would be playing "zombie" or "star wars" or "transformers". I didn't even hardly know who Obi Wan Kanobi was before Maddox came along! Well, yesterday, with school still out due to weather, we were trapped inside yet again and we also had one of the boys' best friends over, Seth. Seth is almost 10, so he's a bit older then my boys, but they have grown up with each other (as Brandon and Seth's dad work together) and love to get together and play!! First, they played hide and seek but Maddox ended up being "it" nearly every time because Ash and Seth were getting mad at him for telling the "it person" where the hiders were and never staying in his hiding place...poor Maddox!

Then, after hide and seek got boring, the boys played monster! This is a game with really no rules (well at least only the rules that Seth and Ashtyn make up as they go along so Maddox can't win) and basically it's a free for all! On this day, however, "monster" took a turn for the worse and Ash and Seth teamed up and began pretend-destroying the house! It was loud but I couldn't help but laugh and I tried to take a couple pictures but pics just don't do this "game" justice! Take a look...

oh my goodness! Atleast they were having fun and getting along I guess!!!
That is hilarious Erika...Boys are a different breed aren't they..! But you are doing a great job a raising the little "monsters"..!!! Oh and by the way...May the Force be with YOU...!!! HA!
Honey, you just earned at least two more stars in your CROWN! Hang in there! Love, Glenda
By the way, Maddox, don't worry your turn is coming with poor Grayson!
Thank you for letting the boys be boys. It is so much fun for them to play by making as much noise as they possibly can! While they play...girls talk & boys make noise. That's life!
As for Barbie World ... you were definately the "queen".
I still have nightmare's about Barbie Beauty Pageant's!!! I would always try so hard to win but I ALWAYS lost! Rae would always be the judge cuz she didn't want to play and so you made her do that, at least. Then you would get all the pretty dresses to dress your Barbie in and I would get the U-G-L-Y ones. So you would win every time (and I secretly think Rae was scared of you, you might have told on her for something else...HaHa!). So then you would get the cute Ken and the nice red car and first pic of the next pageants dresses (thats the excuse you would always give me for getting the nice dresses). Frown. I need to go to counceling. Ha!
HA! Karianne you have me LAUGHING OUT LOUD!! It's so true!! I still claim, though, that in order for me to be "bossy" someone had to be obeying me! HE HE! I know it's just an excuse but, ya know... We probably all need some counseling over barbie beauty pageants! And, mom, I was cracking up when the boys were playing because they hardly said any "words" to each other! Only sound effects and growling and robot talk! Funny!
it's non stop TALKING over here. Boys and girls are difinately DIFFERENT!!!
LOLOLOLOL I am sorry but the barbie story was also hilarious!
