snoozefest

The boys have been slowly needing naptime less and less. Usually, they will go days (maybe even a week) without a nap but then have a few days where they play catch up and take pretty good afternoon naps. Even though, I will admit, that I miss a regular naptime it's also nice that we don't have to plan our days around "1-3PM". We can go to the mall or the park or even the zoo on a weekday without much crankiness!! There are days here and there though where no naptime comes back to bite us when we arrive back home at 4PM and one of the kiddos just can't hold out til bedtime!! This was Maddox's turn. I knew it wasn't looking good when he grabbed his blanky and asked for strawberry milk in his sippy. (That's a sure fire recipe for sleep!) Sure enough, it didn't take but a few minutes for Maddox to doze off SITTING UP on the sofa!! He looked oh so cute!!
