With two boys home most of the day we have some LOUD afternoons, to say the least!! It's a rare moment (when the boys are home that is!) that it is even remotely quiet around our house! Nearly every waking moment is filled with wrestling, sword fighting, dress-up, jumping on the bed and playing in the sandbox. Friday, however, we had eaten lunch and the boys were watching a cartoon in my room, while I cleaned up lunch and switched the laundry, when suddenly I realized...it was QUIET!!!! I couldn't help but document the moment!!!! I might not even believe myself that this actually happened!!!! Now, don't get me wrong, for a girly-girl who grew up always believing I would have princess daughters when I got older I have certainly grown to LOVE the constant commotion of raising boys...but I'm not gonna complain if from time to time a moment of serenity finds its way into my life! (breath of fresh air...sigh!)
