PHS! Ponca City Wildcats!

This weekend we made a trip to Ponca City to surprise Auntie Rae for her birthday (which is Tuesday!) and sneak Aunt Kiki in for a visit!! Somehow we were able to keep the fact that Karianne was flying in, from Rae, for over a week!! We had already been planning on going to PC this weekend to see Elia in her first ever cheer performance for the Wildcat football team but when we found out Karianne would be coming in we made a sister weekend out of it as well! It was a ton of fun and much needed! Friday night we snuck Karianne into Ponca City. When we pulled into Rae's driveway Karianne jumped out of the car and hid next to the house. A moment later, Rae and Elia came out the front door and as Rae came around the car Karianne snuck up behind her and shouted "Happy Birthday!!" Rae literally screamed like I've never seen her scream before! She even pulled her hands up to her face and shook them frantically with the most shocked look on her face while screaming and shouting "What are you doing here!?" It was awesome to finally be able to "get Rae" so to speak!! After the game Friday night we hit the sack for an early morning. Saturday, the sisters and I shopped garage sales, consignment stores and Hobby Lobby! We also had a delicious lunch at El Patio! (Mmmmm...I want to eat there again just thinking about it...) Anyway, it was a fun weekend but I wish it could have lasted longer. Now, today, Brandon and I are headed out of town for a working weekend in Branson while Karianne flies back to Connecticut! It was a much needed break but just enough of a taste of "sister time" to wish I could have more. Oh...and isn't Elia the cutest in her cheer outfit!!!!

Wish I could have seen RaeAnna get "surprised".

I also think it's awesome that Elia likes cheerleading. Especially since I remember RaeAnna saying years ago that if she had a girl there was no way she was going to be a cheerleader! God has such a hilarious sense of humor!
