yellow colored glasses

Yesterday the long awaited and ever anticipated COOL FRONT moved through Oklahoma and with it it brought strong winds and lots of rain!! The winds we could have done without...in fact, it blew over our trampoline and the potted plant on our front porch! Dirt and dust were flying everywhere! But the rain was awesome! It smelled wonderful and the cooler air was more then welcome! After the rain passed, however, the entire sky and even air appeared to be a weird shade of yellow! It was the strangest thing I have ever seen! You can't tell exactly from this picture what it looked like (I couldn't fully capture the yellow tint on my camera) but it was just so weird. It literally looked like you were wearing sunglasses with a yellow tint in the lenses and everything looked bathed in yellow!! Odd. Anyway, the rain was awesome, the cooler air this morning was more then awesome and if you look really closely you can see the rainbow above the trees in our backyard! NOW it feels like September!
