pretty pretty PINK princess

Today, we were very excited to have Casey, Rae and Elia visit!!! They came just for a playdate and to see Casey's mom. While Ashtyn was at school, Rae and I took Elia and Maddox to the Mustang Library for storytime! They had fun singing songs, listening to stories and doing a craft. The theme for the day was Christopher Columbus so all the songs and stories were about explorers and ships! At the end of class, Maddox and Elia did a craft where they colored a map of the world and glued a tiny ship onto a popsicle stick! Then they could sail their ship all around the world! Once Ash got out of school we played at the park and then came home and played some more!

I don't get to see Elia nearly often enough. I love my little super-girly niece and I really love to spoil her with all things PINK!!! Inbetween visits, I often find little things here and there that I think she might like and I store them in my closet until I see her again. This time I had packed away a pair of pixie wings, a princess wand, a pink tutu and some fuzzy pink earmuffs with rhinestone tiaras on each side! The look on Elia's face was priceless when she saw all her goodies and I wasn't surprised one bit when she put them all on at once! The only thing I was surprised about was when she didn't want to wear it all to the library! HA!!! Elia is such a cutie!!!
