pancakes & pajamas

Today Maddox had a special day at school!! It was "Pancake & Pajama Day" and we all got in on the fun!! I went to school with Maddox for the second day in a row to help out with the party and to also help Maddox's teachers with any work they asked me to do. I made copies, helped with center time and served lots and lots of pancakes!! Maddox wore his Star Wars PJ's and Darth Vader shoes. I've had alot of fun going to Pre-K the past two mornings and helping out but I have to admit that I'm ready to get back to my old routine and I think Ash is too. He did very good visiting Maddox's class (in fact, Maddox's teacher was impressed with how well behaved Ash is!) but Ashtyn wants to spend his mornings at home before he goes to school. When I took pictures of Maddox this morning before we left for school he asked "Can we send one to Grayson? I think it will make him laugh..." and then he did this second pose! We texted it to Gray's mom and told her we wanted to give Grayson a smile for the day. She said she knew Gray would love it! Maddox may be a rough and tumble boy...ALL BOY...but deep down inside he has a tender heart. He often thinks of Grayson and prays for him too! I'm glad that Maddox could make baby Gray laugh today! Oh, and by the way, as I was serving 40+ preschoolers pancakes and syrup this morning it was REALLY hard not to sneak a bite for myself!! Ha!! Those pancakes looked and smelled sooooooo GOOD!!!!
