This weekend the boys decided to build a fort!! At first they tried to build a fort on the sofa which didn't turn out looking too much like a fort...it was more like a big ol' pile of blankets and pillows! But then I suggested they make a fort out of their bunk bed and an actual fort finally took shape! They even "decorated" the inside of their fort with more blankets and stuffed animals! It was fun! Sure, it required alot of clean-up as the boys had retrieved every single pillow, blanket and stuffed animal from the entire house but it took me back to my own childhood to watch them play and even pitch in a bit offering my own fort building skills! And who could care about the mess anyway when they see those smiles and hear those awnry little boy giggles!?!? Too much fun!!!!
