Today was "hippie day" at school for the 4th day of homecoming week!! We didn't really have anything that looked like hippie gear, so I went to Wal-Mart and got a couple of white tees and a tye-dye kit. It was pretty easy to do but took a long time. I was up REALLY late last night!! I think it was worth it, though. The boys looked really cute!! They wore their tye-dtye tees, some bright colored plastic beads, buttons that said things like "peace" and "recycle" and, of course, headbands!! I was pretty proud of their last minute hippie outfits and they were most definitely showing their Bronco Pride!!
The boys would only let me take their pictures if I promised to let them take a "silly" picture after they stood still for a couple nice pictures...so, this is them being silly!! They're so crazy!! Tomorrow is the homecoming football game, Mustang v Bixby. Tomorrow the boys will wear their Bronco game day t-shirts to school and tomorrow night they will get to go onto the Bronco football field during pre-game and do a cheer they have learned at school this week. Then, both the boys will get to run through the Bronco tunnel ahead of the football team, smoke and cheerleaders and all!! Ashtyn has run through the football tunnel twice already but this will be Maddox's first year!! He's excited!! I'm excited too!! Hopefully, after the pre-game festivities, we'll get some snacks and watch at least some of the game. GO BRONCOS!!!!
