"Nature looks dead in winter because her life is gathered into her heart. She withers the plant down to the root that she may grow it up again fairer and stronger. She calls her family together within her inmost home to prepare them for being scattered abroad upon the face of the earth." Hugh Macmillan

old habits die hard
Maddox continues to amaze us with all of his various sleeping positions. The boy can seriously sleep through anything and in most any way. He tosses and turns and flips and flops without ever waking himself. On this night, I went to find my camera so I could snap a pick because not only was his head completely off of the mattress and hanging over the edge of the bed but before I found my camera his head was also covered with his comforter so all you could see was his body from the neck down! Ha! But by the time I came back into the room with my camera Maddox had shimmied his way out from under his blanket and simply was laying completely sideways in his bed with his head and both arms hanging off of the bed! I have no idea how he's gets good rest during the night. Maddox has had us laughing at his sleeping habits every since he was born!
