"Nature looks dead in winter because her life is gathered into her heart. She withers the plant down to the root that she may grow it up again fairer and stronger. She calls her family together within her inmost home to prepare them for being scattered abroad upon the face of the earth." Hugh Macmillan

school songs
We've had a couple of rough mornings so far, but overall both my boys are loving school!! They're getting into their daily routines and really enjoy all of their "special" classes during the day including art, PE and visits to the library!! And who could forget recess...EVERYONE'S favorite!!!! Last night, after showers and putting on their PJ's Maddox suddenly burst into a song he learned at school!! We've been begging him to share with us something he has learned at school but he is always too shy or "doesn't want to talk about it" but suddenly he was singing and then he kept singing it over and over and over. So, finally I asked him if I could record him singing his new song and he agreed!! Wow!! Maddox usually hates to sing on video!! I jumped at the opportunity and quickly grabbed my camera. As Maddox sang his "red" song, Ash decided that he too wanted to share a song he had learned at school!! Ashtyn's is just a fun and silly song that I'm assuming his teacher must use to loosen up the kids and get everyone's energy pumping. It's a very funny song about bananas!! Ha!! I love hearing what my boys have done during the day. It's so weird to go from having them home, with me, all day long and knowing each and every little thing they said, every move they made and every question they asked. Now someone else is getting to see all of that (sad, I know...) and so I take every little morsel of information I can get. I just hope they never grow out of sharing their day with mommy...!!! (DON'T BURST MY BUBBLE...!!!)
