"Nature looks dead in winter because her life is gathered into her heart. She withers the plant down to the root that she may grow it up again fairer and stronger. She calls her family together within her inmost home to prepare them for being scattered abroad upon the face of the earth." Hugh Macmillan

singin' in the rain shower
Maddox is pretty shy about sharing things he's learned at school. Every now and then he'll actually sing us a song he's learned in Kindergarten or will tell us a tiny bit of information but overall when we ask him about his day he just clams up and giggles only giving us tid bits of info. A couple of days ago, I heard Maddox singing in the shower and realized he was singing a song he learned at school. It's a song that teaches him how to spell "Yellow" and is very cute! I grabbed my camera and started taping from the other side of the shower curtain. After Maddox made it through his new song once he realized I was standing in the bathroom and called my name. I don't think he knew what I was doing, though, because once I came into his view and Maddox saw that I had the camera rolling he immediately started singing again! Ha!! I guess his shy streak is ending! Maddox was excited to perform his new song and I'm super pumped that I captured it on video...even if he was in the shower at the time!
