"Nature looks dead in winter because her life is gathered into her heart. She withers the plant down to the root that she may grow it up again fairer and stronger. She calls her family together within her inmost home to prepare them for being scattered abroad upon the face of the earth." Hugh Macmillan

lego land
Now that the boys are in school all day I miss playing with them. Being home with them full time we're used to playing whatever we want whenever we want! But school has taken over our lives and now we play what we can when we can. It's not quite the same as it used to be but really having less time to play makes the time we do have that much more memorable and fun! Lately, our after school activity of choice has been building with legos. We build lots of things but mostly we build a wide variety of Star Wars ships. They're not the actual ships (we make up our own!) but it's fun to be creative and chat with my boys while we play. I think I'm getting pretty good at building more complex ships if I say so myself. My first few ship designs no one wanted to play with (they were boring...) but now I'm getting the hang of it! Ha!
