powerful grip

Last weekend, I was in Tulsa working with OYM at Girls Retreat and, while I love working at an event, Girls Retreat weekend was made even better by my sister coming for a visit and bringing my niece and nephew along too!! I knew they were coming and was excited about it all day long. The only thing standing between me and some quality time with Elia and Noah was...dun, dun, dun...MIMI!!!! Mimi is Robin, Noah and Elia's grandma and she was also very excited to visit the kids!! As an auntie, I deferred to Robin and let her have first dibs and waited patiently for my turn...and it was worth the wait!! Once I got my hands on the kiddos I went picture crazy and went into full on baby talk mode!! High pitched voice and all!! I just can't help myself!!

Noah has oh so many facial expressions and I love each and every one of them. I hadn't seen him in a couple weeks and since I've talked to him he has definitely started  focusing more on the person who is holding him and he truly looks like he's listening to your voice. I was soakin' it all in!!

My heart literally MELTED when Noah grabbed my finger!! I like to think that I had HIM that day but I truly think HE had ME!! In more ways then one!! He definitely already has his Auntie Ucka wrapped around HIS little finger...!!!

I've hated living so far away from my family ever since we moved but with more babies being born it's even harder. Looks like I need to start budgeting more money for gas each month so that we can visit WAY more often!!
