if I could turn back time...

Last week we celebrated Ashtyn's 8th birthday at Play Zone!! Play Zone offers bouncy houses and laser tag and we did it all!! Ash invited his cousins and friends from school and we had a really good turn out. As the kids arrived, they played in the bouncy houses and had a great time!!

Once they were all good and tired we rounded up the kids for some pizza!! The parents were hungry too so it was perfect timing!!

Then it was time to dive right into Happy Birthday and dessert!! Ashtyn had a pokemon themed birthday party and if you know anything about pokemon then this cupcake makes perfect sense. There is something called a poke-ball and this cupcake is modeled after it. According to all the boys at the party the cupcakes turned out perfectly so I guess I did a pretty good job!! Pat on the back for mommy!!

I honestly can't believe that I had to put the number 8 on top of Ashtyn's cupcake this year. I know it makes me old to say this but it literally seems like just yesterday that I was putting the number 1 on top of his cake. I guess it's true what they say...time really DOES fly when you're having fun!!

Then it was time for presents and laser tag!! The kids got to play 3 games of laser tag and all the dad's got in on the last game!! I'm pretty sure they lost too if I'm remembering right!! Ha!!

Ashtyn had a great 8th birthday and a great birthday party!! I would say it was perfect except that I was a little sad that my baby was turning 8...but it really was a very fun night!! Happy Birthday Ashtyn!! We love you very much!! Now STOP GROWING...!!!
