May 4th was Ashtyn's birthday and believe it or not he turned 8!!!! How did that happen!?!? I guess what they say is true, time REALLY DOES fly when you're having fun!!!! We weren't able to have Ashtyn's birthday party on his birth date but he had a great day at school. His teacher gave him this enormous "Happy Birthday" button to wear during the day and then he was actually allowed to keep it!! He was so very proud!! That night, Ashtyn got to choose what we had for dinner and, no surprise, he picked McDonald's. One major change, though, is that since he's turned 8 Ashtyn hasn't eaten a Happy Meal from McDonald's! Instead he's gotten a grown up meal! And he can eat the whole thing too! My baby boy is certainly growing up! Happy Birthday Ashtyn! You will always be mommy's baby and I love you so very much!!
