We promised the boys over a month ago, when we first saw the preview on TV, that when Madagascar 3 came out we would go see it in theaters!! So, this Monday, we went to Bricktown and saw the movie!! We treated the boys on this trip and saw the movie in 3D. We don't normally spend the extra cash for that but thought we'd do something special. They boys were pumped!! We didn't tell them before hand we were seeing it in 3D and so when the theater employee handed them their glasses they both lit up and began jumping up and down!! We ate a lunch of hot dogs and nachos while watching the movie (which mommy and daddy paid dearly for later...getting old is no fair...) and we laughed hysterically through the entire movie!! It was really funny!! There was one moment I won't soon forget (and proof that we never see movies in 3D) when Maddox first put on his 3D glasses, as the previews began, and then promptly stood up out of his seat, leaned over the chair in front of him and began reaching and swatting at the air trying to grab the images he thought were right in front of his eyes!! Hahahahaha!! Brandon and I were both cracking up while Brandon tugged on the back of Maddox's t-shirt to make him sit back down!! Oh good grief!! Good times!! Good family times!!
