"Nature looks dead in winter because her life is gathered into her heart. She withers the plant down to the root that she may grow it up again fairer and stronger. She calls her family together within her inmost home to prepare them for being scattered abroad upon the face of the earth." Hugh Macmillan

two toned family
Seriously, if I hadn't carried him for nine months and been in labor with him for countless hours I might not believe Maddox is my child! For real! It doesn't take more then a week of summer and Maddox is tan and dark with light blonde locks! I, on the other hand, couldn't tan if my life depended on it. I can spend half the time in the sun Maddox does and still come out with the worst sunburn of my life while Maddox just gets darker and darker and darker. He certainly didn't get that from me...but I wish I could somehow inherit it from him...

Blame it on Grampa Mike
Holy Cow! Boy is even darker than the last time I saw him!
I'm trying to summon his ability to tan!!! LOL
This just made me laugh and the first memory that came to mind was when we were sitting on the couch in Texas and I gave you a big squeeze forgetting you were burnt LOLOL
Mom, yes, and Brandon tans too...when he actually goes outside. Rae, I know!! I want some of it too! Tiff, I remember that! That was a BAD burn too! Ugh!
