"Nature looks dead in winter because her life is gathered into her heart. She withers the plant down to the root that she may grow it up again fairer and stronger. She calls her family together within her inmost home to prepare them for being scattered abroad upon the face of the earth." Hugh Macmillan

bedtime belly-laugh
The other night Maddox asked daddy to give him a "ride" to bed. Maddox wrapped his arms and legs around daddy and hung on for dear life. Brandon made the trip much more fun when halfway down the hallway he started acting like a giant monkey carrying his little monkey baby! Ha! It was hilarious! Listening to Maddox's hysterical belly laugh made my night! And, as I'm sure you can imagine, ever since the monkey maiden voyage Maddox has wanted to be carried to bed the exact same way each and every night. I'm not sure if Brandon even realizes what he has started here!
