friendly skies

Just over a week ago, on Thursday, September 20th, Rae and I were preparing to fly out to Connecticut to be with our baby sister while she had her first baby!! Our flight was Friday morning at 5:45AM (Whoa!!) and so Rae's whole family came down Thursday evening. We had dinner together at Logan's and then Casey and Elia drove back to Ponca City while Rae and Noah stayed out our house in preparation of our early flight the next morning!! We were SO excited for our trip that it was really hard to settle down and get to bed...so, instead of sleeping, we entertained Noah for awhile!!

Obviously, I forced Brandon to smile in the picture above...this was the original shot!! Ha!! I'm actually not sure which one I like better...!!!

I honestly miss having a baby or toddler around our house so it's always fun to play with one of my nieces or nephews. Noah is really funny! He talks very loud, never stops moving and makes me laugh constantly! He reminds me A LOT of Maddox as a toddler.

We finally crawled into bed at a pretty decent time but I tossed and turned for quite awhile before finally falling asleep. I think it was a combination of excitement for the next day AND fear that I wouldn't hear my alarm! Ha! I just wanna get on the plane and get to Connecticut already...
