growing pride

Every year Mustang High School allows each elementary school the opportunity to participate in one of their Friday night football games! It's a really cool program! During each Mustang High School football home game a different elementary school is allowed to come to the game early and get autographs from the football players. Then they get to line up behind the inflatable Mustang that the players run thru and give high-fives to the players as they run past them and THEN after the players run through the giant inflated Mustang, shooting smoke from its nostrils, the kids get to run thru behind the players! So cool! This is the third year that my boys have participated and they LOVE it! We were ready to go this year with our Bronco Pride t-shirts, Mustang tattoos on the boys' cheeks and HUGE smiles!

The Mustang Bronco high school football players are definitely like heroes to my boys. Especially to Maddox. They must look larger then life to him! I can't wait until it's one of my boys suiting up, signing autographs and running through that tunnel ready to play!
