Ash is most himself when he's doing one of two things...reading or science experiments! We have an endless sequence of experiments growing, bubbling or fizzing on our kitchen counter top. Ashtyn's latest experiment was to grow homemade rock candy! It took longer than the directions made it sound but after a couple of weeks sitting in the kitchen windowsill we had quite a good chunk of blue rock candy! The candy just tasted like hard sugar but it was a cool experiment and actually work...unlike some of the things we've tried. I wonder what we'll do next!?!? Whatever it is it's currently locked in the recesses of Ashtyn's mind and we're simply waiting for it to come out...
