I love a lot of things about my husband but I especially love that every time I ask him if he wants to sit on the deck with me while I drink my coffee he says yes. He doesn't say much (no, that's not just a quality he shares with the rest of the world...I am blessed with it too!) but we don't have to do much talking. I enjoy the quiet and I love just sitting with him next to me. These moments usually only last a few minutes tops before the kids discover where we've escaped to and come outside to join us (and bring with them their loud voices and many, MANY stories...) but the quiet moments are wonderful and I cherish them.
