This year in P.E. Class the 3rd graders got to learn about fishing! They did lessons about it, practiced casting in the gym and FINALLY, at the end of the year, were given the chance to go to a local pond and do some real life fishing in the water! Ash was so excited! Brandon was able to take the morning off and go with him (this seemed like a daddy field trip!) and they had some memorable father son bonding time. Ash didn't catch anything (I think only two students did...) but he had a lot of fun stories to tell after school. Overall I think fishing was a real HIT! I guess it's time to get some of our own fishing gear and head to the pond more often!
