WHO'S YOUR DADDY

HAPPY FATHER'S DAY!!! This morning the boys kicked off Father's Day by giving Brandon a card and then we got ready for church and headed out! Our church holds an event called "Dadfest" every year and so after morning service we headed outside to enjoy the festivities! First, though, Brandon had to put on his fruit loop bracelet that Ashtyn made him in class!

There were a TON of fun things to do at Dadfest 2009! They had inflatables for the kids...


exotic animals to pet and even hold...

a mechanical bull! Go DAD!!!...


live music...

and antique cars and motorcycles to look at!

Even though it was VERY hot outside we had alot of fun at Dadfest! We played hard, ate yummy hamburgers and hot dogs and then made our way home for a nap!

That is an awesome event idea! I don't think that Dad's get enough recognition. There are so many dead-beat dads out there ... we need to honor the good ones ... like Brandon!
