and then we HAD to swing! Maddox and Elia could seriously swing all day if we let them!
Maddox swung while singing at the top of his lungs! What was he singing? "We Will Rock You" of course...
After so much outdoor fun in the Oklahoma heat, what else would we do next besides GET A SNOWCONE!!!!! Can you tell we enjoyed them? Ash enjoyed his too, but his was lemon-lime and so he didn't have a "snowcone mustache".

Next up...Sun N Fun!!! My kids had never been to Sun N Fun so we weren't sure what to expect but it was really cool! They had a kiddie pool area with a fountain and small water slides. Maddox and Elia spent their time in the kiddie pool but Ash LOVED the slide and rarely entered the pool!

So much "Sun N Fun" wore us out (HA!) and we enticed the kids away from the pool with the promise of Happy Meals from McDonald's.
After eating our nuggets and fries, we settled at Rae's house for craft time! Tonight, we let the kids' creative juices flow with white t-shirts, t-shirt paint and summer stamps! The kids made Camp Cousin shirts to wear on the final day of Camp Cousin! I guess you can see the final product on Friday...(oh the suspense!)
"Nature looks dead in winter because her life is gathered into her heart. She withers the plant down to the root that she may grow it up again fairer and stronger. She calls her family together within her inmost home to prepare them for being scattered abroad upon the face of the earth." Hugh Macmillan

Camp Cousin 09...The Fun Begins
Our Second Annual Camp Cousin kicked off today and a full week of fun and the busiest week of our year began! Today's plans included a picnic, swimming and t-shirt design! We met at the park, near Rae's house, at 11:30AM for a Burger King picnic and playtime...
Each kid took a turn spinning the others on the Merry-Go-Round...

Such smart mommies ... no clothes on the kids for most of the day!
Loved the Camp Cousin update. I'm anxious to see what happens tomorrow!
