When we arrived at the Omniplex the kids had quite a bit of energy and were ready to explore!

Then we headed to Ashtyn's favorite exhibit...the Gadget Trees!
And then Gymnastics!

After many flips and flops we had lunch and then made our way to the "sound" exhibit! It is filled with many different science experiments centered around sound and music!
Finally, we ended the day in the children's play area!

I promised the boys that they could pick something out in the gift shop and they each chose a robot arm whose fingers are controlled by a trigger and they can actually pick stuff up! They're pretty cool! Elia chose a butterfly net!
Camp Cousin 2009 was definitely easier in some ways this year then last year. No one needed bottles or binkies and the kids could make it most of the way through the day without a nap. We had alot of fun visiting Great Grandma and Ashtyn says his favorite part of the week was when he discovered his Transformer sheets! Hope you all enjoyed the updates as much as we enjoyed our week!

Camp Cousin 09...US vs. LACK OF SLEEP
Today was the official last day of Camp Cousin 2009. Even though Rae and Casey are still staying one more night with us and tomorrow Rae and I are going shopping while our husbands let the kids swim, today was still the last day of Camp Cousin! Sticking with tradition, we had the kids wear their Camp Cousin shirts today! Ash and Maddox sort of posed for a picture (even though they wouldn't smile)...but Elia didn't want her picture taken this morning...

Our plans for today were to visit the Omniplex in Oklahoma City. We also originally had plans to go to the Orr Family Farm this evening, but we decided quite early on in the day that it would be best to just let the kids play at the Omniplex this morning and then head home for some indoor play. Not only was it because of the overwhelming heat at only 10AM, but also because everyone (kids and mommies included) were fighting the effects of no sleep...including, breaking down into tears for no reason, whining, fighting, etc. Don't get me wrong, we still had fun and there were plenty of wonderful memories made today...but we could still tell that the kids were ready for some "home time".
