"Nature looks dead in winter because her life is gathered into her heart. She withers the plant down to the root that she may grow it up again fairer and stronger. She calls her family together within her inmost home to prepare them for being scattered abroad upon the face of the earth." Hugh Macmillan

it's never too early...
This morning I was so excited to wake up and go out shopping all by myself! It's a very rare thing that a mom gets to just stroll around Hobby Lobby (or any other store) with no time limit, no kids to take potty and not a care in the world!! I stopped and got myself a starbucks coffee and then headed to Hobby Lobby! There I found these cutsie santa and gingerbread man pillows on sale and I bought them to put on the boys beds when we decorate for Christmas! The boys are at the perfect age to fall in love with the holidays and we are already counting down the days to when Santa will visit us! I can't wait to decorate the house and begin baking daily! It's just round the corner!!!!!!
After finding some good deals at Hobby Lobby I went on over to Ross and found some more really REALLY fun Christmas decorations at even better prices then Hobby Lobby had to offer!! First off, there were these christmas themed throw pillows. I know they're kinda "over the top" but if you can't be over the top at Christmas then when can you!?!?
I was also very excited to find a few nutcrackers. Last year I started picking up a nutcracker here and there when I found a good deal and they had these cute nutcrackers at Ross for $7 each! I wish I could leave them out on the shelf right now!!
The best deal of the day, though, was this wooden abstract santa. I saw it sitting on the shelf and thought it was really cute but as I picked it up to look at the price I was thinking I would see at least $5 or $6 on the price tag...to my surprise though the price tag read $1.99!!!! Can you beleive it?!?! When I saw the cheap price I took all the store had to offer...

I'm a little jealous...such good deals and SO CUTE!!! I think maybe I will spend more time at your house this year than mine...what do think...is that pushing the mother in law too much?
OK ... am I crazy or does the abstract wooden santas look a little like Brandon!??!
I was thinking the middle nut cracker reminded me of him just a litte bit!
It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas!!!! WOOOO HOOOO!!!
