Today, we arrived home from our Christmas in Connecticut adventure!! We were sad to say goodbye to Grandpa, Grandma, Aunt Kiki and Uncle Kevin but we were also very ready to say hello again to our own beds and the comforts of being at home. As luck would have it, we got a TON of snow (record breaking in some parts I think!) in Oklahoma over Christmas, which rarely happens, while in Connecicut we got ZERO snowfall over Christmas. Bummer. But luckily, as we drove into Oklahoma today there was still quite a bit of snow on the ground and after dropping Rae, Casey and Elia off in Ponca City and driving home to Mustang we found even more snow still on the ground here and found that it was actually snowing again!!! What fun!!! Poor Ash was probably the most excited to see the snow but I forgot as I begged him, in this video, to run through the snow that he had just slipped on his shoes to get out of the car and didn't have socks on or anything...his feet were pretty cold!! But I think it was well worth the romp!! Anyway, we hope the snow lasts as long as possible and we are excited to be back in Oklahoma!! The boys are already fast asleep with the promise from mom and dad that when they get up they can bundle up and head outside to try and build a snowman...
